In 1997, Pho Kim Long opened with a simple idea: bringing Vietnamese and Chinese culinary traditions together under one roof.
The founders came from different cultural backgrounds—one Chinese and one Vietnamese—but shared the same values of family, hard work, hospitality, and community.
When choosing a name, they looked to the dragon, a symbol of strength, prosperity, and good fortune in many Asian cultures. Combined with the Vietnamese word Kim, meaning gold, the name Kim Long, or Golden Dragon, was born.

Situated in the Heart of Las Vegas' Chinatown since 1997, Pho Kim Long opened with a simple idea: to bring Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines and culinary traditions together under one roof. Each dish is made from scratch daily, using only the finest spices and freshest ingredients. Our restaurant began with family, a love of food, and the belief that the best meals are the ones shared with others.

Our family dreamed of creating a restaurant that felt like the meals we grew up with: warm, generous, full of flavor, and always meant to be shared. When choosing a name, we looked to the dragon, which is a symbol of strength, prosperity, and good fortune in many Asian cultures. Combined with the Vietnamese word Kim, meaning "gold," the name Kim Long, or "Golden Dragon," was born.
Recipes were prepared the way we were raised, using techniques and flavors passed from one generation to the next. Our made-from-scratch menu is prepared fresh daily with aromatic spices, freshly picked ingredients, and bold flavors to immerse your senses.
From the beginning, Pho Kim Long was more than a place to eat. It was a gathering place where families shared meals, friends celebrated milestones, and traditions were passed from one generation to the next. Over the years, the restaurant became a fixture in the Las Vegas community. Customers returned again and again, often bringing their children and grandchildren. What started as a neighborhood restaurant grew into a place filled with memories, relationships, and unforgettable experiences.
For nearly three decades, we have evolved through the years, but our roots remains the same: delicious food made with care, warm hospitality, and a table where everyone is welcome.
